If you are not registered, please visit any Secretary of State driver’s license bureau, or the
City Clerk’s office at 100 N. Harris Street, Saline. Only persons who have registered as electors
with the City or Township in which jurisdiction they reside are qualified to vote.
The Primary Election is being held on Tuesday, August 5, 2008 for the purpose of nominating
Candidates for the following offices: Representative in State Legislature, County Clerk/Register
of Deeds, County Prosecuting Attorney, County Sheriff, County Treasurer and Water Resources
Manager. Precinct Delegates will also be elected at this election.
Polls will be open from 7:00 am until 8:00 pm. Registered voters of Precinct #1 and Precinct #2
will vote at Liberty School, 7265 Saline-Ann Arbor Road, Saline, and registered voters of Precinct
#3 will vote at the First United Methodist Church, 1200 N. Ann Arbor (corner of N. Ann Arbor and
Woodland Drive), Saline.
Applications for Absentee Ballots were sent to those registered voters who requested to be placed
on the City’s Permanent Absent Voter List. If you are in need of an Absentee Ballot for the August
Primary and you are not on our permanent absent voter list, please contact the City Clerk’s office
by calling 429-4907 extension 2209, 2216, or 2214.
